Beyond our office and manufacturing space, Janesville Innovation Center (JIC) serves to be a go-to source for entrepreneurship and business resources. Our mission is to connect innovative and forward-thinking individuals, entrepreneurs, and aspiring business owners, providing them with the resources and mentorship they need to accelerate growth and drive success.

Entrepreneur Hub
The Entrepreneur Hub connects our current tenants and website visitors with a wide range of valuable resources, such as networking opportunities, workshops, and events. Entrepreneurs can access interactive sessions, professional insights, infographics, advice, and more.
Mentorship
We offer professional guidance through our Board of Directors, a group of seasoned business professionals, local entrepreneurs, and city staff. We also partner with Merlin Mentors to provide one-on-one coaching that empowers entrepreneurs to overcome challenges and accelerate their business growth.
Partners
We are supported by a strong network of partners, including the U.S. Department of Commerce (Economic Development Administration), City of Janesville, Janesville Foundation, Alliant Energy, the Janesville Art League, and the George Parker Foundation. These collaborations help us provide the necessary resources, facilities, and programs to support local businesses.
Access to Funding & Loans
JIC can connect entrepreneurs with a variety of funding opportunities, including grants, loans, and investor networks. We offer the JIC Tenant Loan Fund, which provides startups and early-stage JIC tenant companies access to working capital for projects and investments that accelerate revenue growth, profitability, and/or the ability to secure additional growth capital.
Events & Skill Development
We regularly host events and post videos to our gallery that focus on the numerous different aspects of business development, from marketing and sales strategies to legal and financial planning. Our goal is to provide the most practical and actionable insights to help you build a stronger foundation for your business.
